Pros: Safe - automatic shut-off and tip protection are very good and offer me piece of mind in using this in my nursery; Sturdy base design and low center of gravity will eliminate chance for tip over unless it is knocked over by a person or pet; Heat's up my 12x13 nursery very well; Quiet operation; Maintains a pretty consistent temperature once you have it set properly; Stays pretty cool to the touch after being on for hoursCons: Thermostat is labeled 1-6 (instead of by degrees), so you don't really know what temperature you are heating to until you have it configured properly, which is trial-based and took me a couple of adjustments to get it set right.I would recommend this heater, but the next one I buy will have a digital thermostat that displays the actual temperature.
the problem is it turns off from over heating or it hits its thermistate before you are half way done with your shower so when you get out it is still cold We bout this heater for our bathroom to heat it upwhen we are taking showers.
The reason for only 4 stars is I'm not sure if it would work well in colder climates, otherwise I would have given it 5 stars. and the DeLonghi Heater fan worked wonderfully, warming a 25'x20' room to a more palatable 73F. price was a little on the high side, but the free shipping made up for it. This is a very compact, but good heater. during a recent cold spell here in Hawaii it was in the mid to upper 50's( I know that cold for us is not cold for the Mainland).
It is worth $14.95, but certainly not $79.99. It doesn't work very well and shuts off continuously. I bought this heater from Amazon in January 2008 for $14.95. How can it possibly be $79.99 now.
No parts to burn yourself on. Does not get hot on the outside. This is the only type of space heater that we consider safe.

Completely safe, no parts inside that light up. We plan on purchasing a couple of more of the same safe heaters for our other rooms.Thank you for making a safe space heater that works so well. Does exactly what the advertisement said it would.
Works off of a pretty accurate thermostat for a little space heater.
